Refund Policy
All payments made to My Spanish DNV are final and non-refundable once charged. This policy explains how our staged payment structure works, which payments arise at each stage, and what happens if your application is refused. If you have questions before you pay, please contact us — we're happy to give you a straight answer before you commit.
1. All Sales Are Final
By proceeding with any payment to My Spanish DNV, you acknowledge and agree that all fees are non-refundable once charged. This applies to every payment stage, regardless of the outcome of your application or any decision to withdraw from the service after payment.
We structure our fees so that the largest payment only arises on approval. No refund right exists for amounts already charged — please review our staged payment tables below before proceeding.
Before you pay: If you are unsure whether you qualify for the Digital Nomad Visa, email us at hola@myspanishvisa.com before opening your case. We provide an honest eligibility assessment at no cost.
2. Our Staged Payment Model
We structure our fees across stages so that the final and largest payment only arises once your application is approved. You are never charged the final stage if your application is refused — that payment simply does not arise.
New application — 3 stages
| Stage | Amount | When charged | Refundable? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 — Open your case | €500 | At the start, when you open your case | Non-refundable |
| Stage 2 — Ready to submit | €500 | When documents are prepared and ready | Non-refundable |
| Stage 3 — On approval | €899 | Only once your application is approved | Never charged if refused |
Renewal — 2 stages
| Stage | Amount | When charged | Refundable? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 — Open your renewal | €400 | At the start, when you open your case | Non-refundable |
| Stage 2 — On approval | €599 | Only once your renewal is approved | Never charged if refused |
3. What Happens if My Application Is Refused?
If Spanish immigration authorities refuse your application, the final success-stage payment is never charged: Stage 3 (€899) for new applications and Stage 2 (€599) for renewals. These amounts do not arise at all — they are not charged and no refund situation occurs.
Any Stage 1 and Stage 2 payments already made for a new application, or Stage 1 already made for a renewal, are non-refundable. These fees reflect the substantial professional and legal work already carried out on your case up to that point.
Following a refusal, our legal team will review the decision and advise you on available options, including reapplication or appeal, at no additional charge for the review.
Refusals caused by inaccurate, fraudulent, or incomplete information provided by the client do not affect our right to retain all fees already paid.
4. Abandonment and Withdrawal
If you choose to withdraw from the service at any point after a stage payment has been made, that payment is non-refundable. If you fail to respond to our team's communications, fail to provide required documents, or otherwise cause your case to stall or lapse, the fees already charged remain payable and are not returned.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep your case active, but we are not responsible for delays or non-progression caused by your failure to engage or provide information.
5. Government Fees (Tasas)
The treatment of Spanish government application fees (tasas) depends on how your application is submitted:
- UGE route (applied for on your behalf): Where we submit your application through the Unidad de Grandes Empresas (UGE), government fees are included within your service fee. No separate tasa payment is required.
- Consulate or BLS route: Where you apply through a Spanish consulate or BLS International office, all government fees are paid directly and separately by you. These fees are set by the Spanish authorities and are not included in our service fee.
In either case, government fees are not refundable by us. Any question of reimbursement from the Spanish authorities is entirely at their discretion and outside our control.
6. Third-Party Costs
Costs incurred on your behalf with third-party providers during case preparation — including official sworn translations, notarisation, and apostilles — are non-refundable once instructed. These involve contracted external service providers whose fees are committed on your behalf.
7. Health Insurance
Health insurance arranged through any provider — including our partner providers 247 Expat Insurance and Spanish-HealthInsurance.com — is governed entirely by that provider's own cancellation and refund policy. My Spanish DNV has no involvement in or responsibility for insurance refunds. Any request for a refund of insurance premiums must be made directly to the relevant insurer in accordance with their terms.
8. Billing Queries
If you have a question about a charge or believe a payment was taken in error, please contact us at hola@myspanishvisa.com with your case reference number and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge billing queries within 2 working days.
9. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with how your case was handled, please contact us in the first instance. We take complaints seriously and will make every effort to resolve them directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it is subject to the governing law and jurisdiction set out in our Terms of Service — namely the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy applies to cases opened on or after the date shown at the top of this page. We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect on the date you open your case applies to that case.
